Pollinator Garden @ The Burke Library

Over the past year Dominion Valley Garden Club members have been working with various community groups, including the Friends of the Library, a local Boy Scout Troop, and Master Naturalists, to develop a pollinator garden at the Burke Centre Library.

Recently the club was thrilled to be awarded a $1000 grant from Plant Across America! The grant money is to be used to purchase signage and additional plants for the pollinator garden at the library.

Dominion Valley Garden Club is busy choosing signage for the Burke Centre Library Pollinator Garden. Our goal is to use the signage to inform the community about the importance of protecting pollinators and encourage community members to plant native plants that attract and sustain bees, butterflies, and birds.
